Our country stands at a crossroads. Republicans won back the Congressional majority in 2010, but the question remains: what will we do with it? True leadership requires humility, vision, positive alternatives and a willingness to fight for the priorities and values of everyday Americans. That is why I am running for Congress. Our party can make a difference if we remain true to our principles and focus on identifying strong, conservative, reform-oriented leaders.

In our travels, I have had the opportunity to listen and talk with Hoosiers about the very real challenges we face as a country. There is no question that the communities in Indiana’s 6th Congressional District are facing economic hardships not seen in a very long time. Voters repeatedly say they are tired of politics-as-usual, and they are looking for new leaders who will provide real answers to our nation’s problems. Over the coming months, we will discuss the tough issues and lay-out our approach to bringing stronger leadership and common-sense conservative solutions to Congress.

Our supporters believe in the brilliance of the U.S. Constitution and understand that America cannot tax itself into prosperity or spend its way out of debt. We believe America has a moral duty to make sure the next generation has the same kinds of freedoms and opportunities that were provided to us. We have a duty to leave this country better than you found it.

The truth is most Hoosiers don’t care much about politics. They want leaders who will set politics aside and do the right thing for the future of our country. They want leaders who will stand up for the U.S Constitution and fight for limited government, balanced budgets, lower taxes, and pro-growth policies that will get America’s economy back on track.

Frankly, my approach to leadership will be very similar to what you have seen from our current Congressman Mike Pence.

Times are tough in our country today. But, together, we can make a difference! Together, we can make sure the next generation gets their chance to live the American Dream.
