EVANSVILLE (Thursday, March 8, 2018) — Luke Messer Senate’s campaign gained the endorsement of State Rep. Wendy McNamara (R-Evansville) ahead of his visit to Vanderburgh County today.
Rep. McNamara announced her support for Messer in the U.S. Senate primary, joining hundreds of other grassroots leaders who have endorsed Messer across the state.
“I enthusiastically support Luke Messer for United States Senate,” State Rep. Wendy McNamara said. “Luke works tirelessly on behalf of Hoosiers. I have seen his conservative values, strong work ethic, and compassion for others first hand. Above all, his positive attitude and no-nonsense approach to serving his state is second to none.”
Messer will make several campaign stops in Evansville today. He will meet with community members and leaders at the Pie Pan in Evansville, visit Signature Charter School and tour Berry Plastics, a local manufacturer.
“Hoosiers in Southwest Indiana want a U.S. Senator who will fight for Indiana’s families and pass President Trump’s agenda,”Messer said. “But Senator Donnelly and the broken U.S. Senate are standing in the way. Together, we will defeat Joe Donnelly and give Hoosiers a Senator who votes with us.”
Today Messer rolled out his first TV ad “Our Dad” narrated by his daughters Emma and Ava. The ad highlights Luke’s support for President Trump’s agenda, conservative credentials and family values.
