Messer wants to bring ‘Indiana common sense’ to Senate
October 20, 2017
U.S. House Representative Luke Messer of Indiana’s Sixth District will be running for the Republican nomination for one of Indiana’s U.S. Senate seats in 2018. The Hoosier state has two Senate seats, one of which is currently held by Democrat Joe Donnelly, who Messer hopes to face in 2018’s general mid-term election. First, he will need to win the Republican nomination against several party rivals. But Messer is encouraging voters to choose him, on the basis of his track record, his connection with Hoosiers and strategies he says are based on common sense.
